Estimate: $6,000
The pool needs to be resurfaced. What you are seeing is not dirt, but a stained surface. This looks pretty yucky, doesn't it?

The most immediate thing we need to repair is our beloved arbor on our back patio. It has served us well for over 20 years, but it wasn't built correctly and it has been leaning over for the past few years. It is so bad now, I am afraid it will come crashing down at any moment and destroy anything below it including the deck.

After receiving a few estimates in the 7-8K range to remove it and replace it close to it's original appearance, I am wondering if we could do something better. I am considering a metal roofed structure similar to the picture below. In fact, I want it to be as close to this as possible.
Oct. 11, 2020. Joey and Daniel are working hard to get the roof off of the arbor. I can tell it is hard work.
Nov. 23, 2020. They have the bulk of the old material out of the way with only the 8 uprights remaining to prevent the holes from being filled with water.
Dec. 1, 2020. We have removed most of the wooden structure, only the uprights remain and the builder will remove those when he builds the new structure. I need to find the roofing material as pictured above.

March 2021. I talked to Jr. again and he said he will get with it. I will probably have to stay after him.

I would really like to have these lighting fixtures, fans and heater.
