Grass
Sep 08, 2019
I have at least three types of grass growing in the front yard alone. About 50% of it is St. Augustine. Although St. Augustine does not look as good as a pure, non-weed infested Bermuda, it is a very practical grass in that it looks pretty good and requires minimal maintenance and moderate watering. It's easy. I have sodded several areas over the years but never could afford to do the whole thing. I would like to fill in a few more areas so that by 2025, it will spread and cover 90% of the front. The most cost effective way would be to hit a few key areas, maybe use a checkerboard method and try to stretch it as far as possible. Six pallets at $160 each would go a long way.

I think it is going to take about 9 pallets of St. Augustine to cover the area that I have killed. $160 per was the going rate a few years ago.
